  • Vaccinations - Your dog must be fully vaccinated on entry to our salon. This is for your dogs, and our safety.

  • Patient Record card - On your first visit you will be required to fill in a patient record card. This will include details regarding you and your dog for grooming purposes. This information will be stored in a safe secure place following GDPR.

  • Vet Details - These will need to be provided incase of emergency. We will always contact you if there are any medical issues.

  • Emergency Contact - You will need to provide an emergency contact number incase we cannot get hold of you.

  • Puppies and Elderly dogs - These dogs will need slightly different grooms which may mean they can’t be fully groomed or may need extra time. This can be discussed prior to your appointment and adapted where necessary, this may also affect the final cost for the groom.

  • Sick, Injured, Disabled dogs - If your dog is suffering from a long term condition that is not contagious, we are happy to groom them. We will always do our best to make sure your dog is comfortable and their needs are met. Please make sure you let us know of any ailments your dog may have prior to your appointment.

  • Deposit - A non-refundable deposit of £5 will need to be paid prior to your appointment. This will be taken off the final bill on collection of your dog.

  • Payments - Your dog’s groom will need to be paid for in full with cash or card on collection of your dog. This may include additional charges if the dog has matting (see dematting policy) and/or there are any other complications.

  • Drop offs - Please make sure you bring your dog at the allotted time slot provided. This is to minimise any crossovers with dogs. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment you will incur a charge of £5.

  • Pick ups - When you drop off your dog we will give you a collection time. Please make sure to collect on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for collection you will incur a charge of £5. This will increase by £5 for every 15 minutes you are late.

  • Cancellations - If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. Failure to do so will incur a charge for the full groom that was booked.

  • Aggression - Please let us know if you dog can be aggressive and whether they are comfortable wearing a muzzle if needed.

  • Animal Welfare - We will always put the needs of your dog first, and if the dog appears to be very stressed, anxious, uncomfortable then we may have to stop the groom. In extreme cases we may refer you and your dog to your vet to complete nail trimming etc under sedation if necessary.

  • Season/Pregnant - We cannot accept dogs who are pregnant or in season.

  • Fleas -If fleas are found during the groom, we will have to stop and you will need to collect your dog. You may also incur a charge of £10 if your dog is highly infested as we will then need to treat the salon and all equipment.

  • Insurance - Whilst it is not compulsory for your dog to be insured to have a groom, we highly recommend it. The safety of your dog is our number one priority but accidents can still happen and its best to be covered!

  • Social Media - Photos/Videos may be obtained during your dog’s groom and used on social media platforms. Please let your groomer know if you would prefer us not to.
